Hi folks, I am after some assistance with a disc brake conversion I am currently performing (on an landcruiser... ;) )

I have a set of Brumby 84 - 92?? calipers to suit Ventilated (18mm wide discs) with the park brake facility on them, that I am using on the rear of a 87 landcruiser.

What I need to know is the distance between the disc and the mounting face on the caliper so I can set up the brackets I have made.

If someone would be able to supply me with that info I would be extremely thankful, and if you are into fishing, could sent you some barra lures for your troubles.... :D

pics of what I have and need below:

I need the measurement from the disc to the mounting on the caliper as above:

thanks in advance!! :)

Hmmm if Gails brumby sits still long enough I'll try and remember to whip a tyre off and check it out.

If that doesn't happen, in the mean time you could drop into a pick a part style wreckers and measure it up yourself - the MY range of subies will be the same. I'm not sure if the L series is the same or not as there are some differences between the two models.

The MY models are the same as the brumby's but run up to 1984 and have the same nose shape as the brumby.

Hope this helps you out

Cheers
