reupholstering/refoaming seats

Post by twilightprotege » Fri Jun 27, 2008 12:52 pm

i'm looking at getting my seats updated in my leone RX and was curious as to who's done this before and what sort of costs were involved? i was wanting to get both front seats reupholstered, with the base of the seat refoamed (and made more supportive) at the same time, then just getting the rear seats reupholstered.

i'm northside bris is anyone can recommend a shop that can help that doesnt cost the earth? (would prob get new floor carpet, hood lining and the door trims done at the same time too - what the hell hey???)

had my std L seats rebuilt using new foam / trim was ok

$160 the pair - actually not a bad seat when rebuilt. But being tall my head was now on the roof - had adjust the driver's down a bit.

No idea of trimmers in Qld

Week later the car stolen - the RIP in the signiture...

cool about the price. certainly sounds like a better option than getting brand new seats and then having to get them to fit and then having to get them approved.

getting my seats fixed was going to cost too much, so i'm going to get new seats. very happy that the stocko seat rails are easy to remove and can easily be used for essentially any other seat!

I just bought a new passenger seat and swapped my existing passenger seat to the drivers side.
