Hi guys,

Don't know if you remember me, but I had the WRC blue coupe at the byb bbq back in 03 i think it was. So long ago...

Anyway, i've finally done the rotary conversion and just thought i'd let you know. I'll have some pics soon, but if any of you live in Brisbane and hang around carindale area, you'll probably see me from time to time - altho I did wave to one of u guys not long ago driving an l-series with backbard boys sticker on the car, but you just looked at me strangely - don't think you recognised what i was driving!

Paul

Paul, welcome back. There was a few people at the last BBQ asking what had happened to you and if you had the rotary conversion finished.

Got any pics of it? Is it as quick as you thought it would be?

Definitely sounds like a much more slick ride than mine. You seem to have put in quite an effort building it, and more importantly making it look good. Mine looks quite sad.

Got any timeslips?

I'd be very interested to see the timeslips.....I imagine the coupe would have similar weight to my Series 1 RX-7 (also running Series 5 13b turbo).

Ever since I got into Subaru's I've had strange ideas about converting the RX-7 to AWD. It runs a 12.9 at the moment with stock turbo, stock top mount, stock internals. Has Microtech LTX-8 ECU and a large/loud exhaust. Just running a standard series 1 rear diff welded locked at the moment.

Paul - The utmost amount of respect to your vehicle! A lot of hours, patience, and effort has been put in that. I live down in Mansfield - I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Good stuff!

cool

Very nice. Can't wait to see the pics.

13B was very high on my conversion list for the Leone but I took delivery of my subaru motor this week.

How does it go off the line without dumping it?

nice nice.. not first time ive been 13B Rotory in Subaru, I remembered someone did one on an EA82 series RX Corpe in America somewhere, it was a Black Subaru, I cannot find any links anymore but i've saved the pictures but it appears Ive lost the picture of the engine in that Subaru.

Nice project mate, specially with AWD.

Damb man - that just makes me grin 8) Gives me fond memories of a friends old 12A powered Datsun 1200 coupe.

Very nice, top effort, now the challenge will be keeping it straight - LOL

Slight hijack question..... sorry.... I am looking into buying the KMAC camber kit for my RX Rally car but was unsure how much adjustment you could get out of them. How much -ive camber can you dial up??

Cheers - Shaun
