The postie (no not that one, the mail man ) dropped this of this morning :-

Ever since the first time I saw a old video of Phar Lap I've wanted a WRX powered brumby, I came close with the ea81t beast, but this one is the real deal!

Excellent. I would like to see it again at some stage. It took me freeking ages to tape the bonnet up like that. What is all over the motor? It looks filthy.

yeah mate I'll bring it up for a visit some time real soon. Are you around this weekend?

Is it usual for it to run quite hot? was sitting at about 2/3 - 3/4 on the temp guage, altho I know EJ conversion don't always read quite right on the temp guage, didn't seem to go up much over that so I wasn't too worried about it.

Also do I need any engineer papers for RWC, or should the blue plate be enough ?

It was me but I oly did 3000 ks in a year so it was mostly sitting around, I took it on a gravel road only once and that was only due to roadworks for about 5ks, so it was really a waste. I have purchased another red brumby as a replacement and my L plater son is allowed to drive it (unlike the turbo which was strictly off limits for him) The biggest problem I had with it was that I had to flat batteries due to lack of use. Glad to see it gone to somebody who will drive it.
