I was just thinking .. (yes my brain still works) I wonder how hard it would be to organize a collage poster of all our cars .. now it could be done many different ways.
concept 1: : Just everybody's car stuck all over the place
concept 2: : several separate sections on one poster, with diff style of soobs
concept 3 : multiple posters of the same style of Subaru
concept 4: : Somebody has a better idea
If everyone was able to put a pre set sized picture somewhere then someone with some photo shop nous could build a bloody good poster i reckon .. or a page where all our cars could be shown to anyone that wants to have a look .. as opposed to having to go through the members car's section.
drink more rum !
car gets dyno'd Wednesday . interesting to c the kw's it has .. (snotted a xrx6 turbo the lights today .. poor bugga didn't know what hit him)

how about everyone post up your photo and then the photoshopper or photoshoppers can make the poster up how they like

Will need a bigger computer for that. Currently I open photoshop and my computer tells me its running low on virtual memory. Not good.
Like your thinking Clearwater - glad I don't have exams otherwise this would be a great procrastination exercise, I've got a masters degree in procrastination!
Cheers

I've done a bunch just playing around. I put together this one and had it printed poster size, 36 inches by 24 inches. This is one of the rough drafts, shrunk down a bit to fit the computer screen, but you get the point.
This one is of my own offroader Soobs over the years.

Shorty did a fantastic one a few years back. It was the cars that came to the BYB BBQ. I have the original oneas a poster, but it is way to big to scan. Shorty or Mike if you read this show them your talent.

Cool Idea, I'd throw a pic in... (the effort it i go to..)
Question: Why aren't more Imprezza wagons lifted and suited for offroad capabilities, like the green one pictured in Zap's bottom poster?

Yes.

No.
The other one is a Brat.

Yeah? Which one? I thought I recognised all the other vehicles from your exploits over the years.
The Brat in the top row is on the Rubicon,
The one on the 2nd row looks like Qman's,
The one with tube doors I recall seeing on USMB somewhere...

I had people submit photos to a thread. I asked that they were no bigger than about 6 inches by 6 inches. I cropped them and shrunk them all down to 2 inches. Then it was easy as pasting them onto a huge pic. I chose a random 8 megapixel pic and went from there.
After it was done, I burned it onto a disc and gave it to a buddy at a print shop. Whallah.
