The nice new headlight covers I ordered for the 82 MY touring wagon finally came in.
These actually clip on, unlike the original set which screwed on.
Much nicer.

Ordered some 7101xxxx I think, plastic body clips for the tailgate chrome moulding screw securing doodadsand two corner plastic plugs for next along on the body. Think the corner plugs bit over two bucks each, the tailgate plugs are same as rest of along the side trim, less than 2 bucks each. On order .

From Frog? For a Brumby? The chrome strip on my tailgate isn't attached... I need to find someone that knows the part numbers.

Did an oil change on the 'L' on Sunday. Not sure how many km's it had done (not too many) but would have been well overdue time wise (car has barely been used the last few years).

Since then though, the "Brakefluid" light on the dash has come on randomly a couple of times? I don't ever recall this light coming in in the ten years I've owned the car... So, what does it tell me? Is it just a level sensor? I'll have a look in the light of day tomorrow and see, but am curious to know what ya'll have to say about it.Image

Likely level is low, so too maybe pads, if so, new pads install pushes fluid back up, might extinguish light without a top up.

Odd for the light to come on after you did the oil change...no chance a connector was knocked?

Well, I didn't really mess around, so I don't *think* I could have knocked anything... But the thought certainly crossed my mind... But it is still dark in Canberra right now, so I haven't checked yet...

Classed as a classic yet? What's the threshold there?!

Concrats anyway! :D

Also: I started bogging my ute tray today. Nearly 3L of it has been applied so far. Then it will be a quick sand and then the raptorliner eventually!

Over 20 years old and NRMA will insure as a Classic.
I took this type of insurance out last year when I found out about it.
Now all I need is to work out how to get cheaper rego.

Today on the ute I did an oil and filter change and also put in a new battery, old one was making me worried some cold mornings this week.

And on the old bullet I finished repairing the inner skin on the rear wheel arch, only the outer skin to do and that rust is busted.
Will it ever end!?

Went to the wreckers and found some missing parts, bought a swag of new fluids and managed only to flush the coolant and do an oil change.

Hopefully power steering, automatic and diff fluids will be changed in the next week :)
