advise on buying a brumby

Brumbyrunner, not meaning to put you wrong as i know you know your brumby's. We just got one with dual head lights that's an 89 model with the targa top - love it!

Dunno what dif ratio is, but will be looking next time i'm near it

The Targa Top or Sports model got dual headlights from 1987 on.

The diff ratio will be 3.7 unless somebody has already changed it. Quite a common swap as they pull sooooo much better with a 3.9 and you acually end up with a higher top speed.

Doors from an MY coupe will fit a Brumby, but wagon and sedan doors won't. Coupes also had side impact protection whereas Brumby's didn't, I beleive.

I've got a set of coupe doors going on the brumby til we get the original ones sorted with the rust it has... I'll see if only the coupe's has the side impact bars. I've gotta change the glass as these are different between the brumby and coupe...

Also about the single to dual light swap: I've heard mixed reports about single being better than dual and vise versa - I guess it's personal preference. I thought to swap to dual lights you just needed the dual light assembly, the grill and some wiring skills. Not sure as i've never had the need to do this swap. Someone will know.
