My roo bar (as i call it) is a wrap over the plastic bumper type. It bolts onto the bars that the bumper bolts to the car with. It has also been modded to fit the spotties in there, the bar below the spotties used to sit where the spotties are, creating an un-even loop when you follow your eyes around the lights to the other side then back again, it was "broken" so to speak. This is also why i have the slim line number plate, i've still got the "fat" one on the rear.

This bar is a bolt together type, i can take the side loops off and just have a nudge bar style, but i like the whole thing, i can see it from the cabin and is a great reference for tight manouvering. Mad the mod easy, just had to drill a larger hole and shave off some alloy welding to fit the bar where it is now... I saw one at the wreckers on saturday just like it but the right hand loop had been ripped off when they hit something, the rest of the bar was okay, even though the plastic bumper had moved a bit.

I have no lift as of yet, looking into one, either 2 or 3 inch, but am focusing on work/uni etc... hope to have a lift by easter next year (by summer would be heaps better...)

Cheers

Bennie

Runs great, omly issue is the temp gauge doesn't seem to work:confused:
Priority mods in this order:
1. CD player and speakers;
2. 14 inch wheels/AT tyres;
3. 2 or 3" lift.
Can't wait!
Mine wouldnt heat up when I bought it, i drove it anyway for a couple of weeks anyway before replacing the thermostat. I wasnt sure if it was working properly after replacing it because it wouldnt go above about 1/4 - 1/3 on the gauge, but I have been told it's normal for these cars.

And as for fuel, my gauge is a little out and I cant seem to be able to fill the tank (on the gauge) it gets to 3/4 full. I did check to see how far I had till it ran out of petrol on the low fuel mark, 137 km was what I got, so thats where my missing 1/4 tank is, lucky it's at the bottom :)

Also some servo pumps dont seem to like my tank and kept clicking like is was full when is was far from it. If you have this problem lift the nozzle out a little from the tank when filling, it will still stop when full.

No one siphoned any last weekend... it seems that parking angles takes a toll on the fuel guage and takes ages to sort itself out...

Cheers
