Its been converted, so doesnt have the original gearbox anymore. I have noticed that when 4WD is selected, both the Lo and 4WD lights come on together, but I think that is just a wiring issue.

I have always been sceptical of the lo range 3 speed auto because it seems rather pointless. Id be happy to change my mind though

Very common for "conversion" jobs to have minor wiring faults.
The 4 speed lockable tourque converter auto that was on some of the L turbos was a nicer box.

You will also need the computer with the 4eat, otherwise its a good paperweight.

What a good find there mate!! You would be able to figure out about the trip computer, have a look at the subaru books about the trip computer it'll have english version there.
