the details i know is that it was built in 1985/86 raced through 86. it was originally built to the specs found on the faberit website.
powered by one of the first EA82T, but i will have to check if this is still the original engine
i belive it was one of the group A cars im not too sure.

yeah very interesting stuff in there, considering even with the strengthening in the front end hey still flexed enough to damage parts and body work so they needed a strut brace that couldnt be found
also andrew gooley, who runs the faberit rally car has now gone past those build ideas. he now runs a turbo forrester gearbox in that car
