Wanky Wagon Is Back In Black!!!

Post by D3V1L » Sun Jun 01, 2008 9:48 pm

Today i woke up and had a thought.. lets get wanky wagon back on the road :)

last night alex and i picked up another car...to source a temporary motor for the wank while her big new plans are brought into action

so 9.30 am this morning....we started

by 1pm the new motor was out of the wreck and into the L series...awesome timing made here

then tristan (90brumby) comes in his mighty high ej22 brumby for a gander...and leaves in good composure:)

then, the rest of the wiring and cleaning up and front end re assembled

and viola!!! we have wanky wagon back in black!!!!

in temporary form of course...new ej22 she got has a few kms on it but goes strong and hard!!!

few things still need doing like all the wiring and all that crapola...

i though it was a good effort..... 2 ppl...some beer....1 complete liberty wreck and 1 wanky wagon.....add some effort and labour and blood and presto!!! u have a wanky spectacular return!!!

I would like to say the streets are now a safer place... but we all know that would be a lie. Good stuff guys, hopfully Alex will be a lot happier now.

heres afew pics from the weekend.

took her out today for afew quick runs. Very happy with it, although there's a missing problem which i still have to resolve.

big thanks yet again to D3v1l dave we knocked the transplant out bloody quick yesterday :) And thanks to subarfury matt, for helping me shove her all back together today. And also 90brumby tricky dicky for the wreck and moral support :)

I really gotta stop looking at lifed subies with EJ's while i'm still at uni... Arrgh!

Good work though alex, great to see the wagon back out... dunno about being back in black, it should read back from black...

Good to see also that you've "blinged" up the motor a bit ;)

Cheers

Wanky looks tough... Curious, are those little driving lights on the back bumper, are they on spotlights, or turn on for reversing?
