L series mechanic in Canberra

Want to take the L series in to get a pro to look it over - see if there's anything on the way out. Can anyone recommend a place in Canberra that knows them ? Also want them to have a look at the carb tuning since I have no idea.

i used to get s and d in braddon to do some carby stuff, they were very good but expensive

What side of the ACT are you on??

I have used Subaroo at Mitchell and found them ok.

The mechanic opposite the Top Hotel in QBN is good also(I think the pub is the hotel Queanbeyan)but there is a waiting list as he has a lot of the defence people in his back pocket...

I do all of my tuning and servicing myself but leave the heavy mechanical stuff to a mechanic.

Haig Park / Subaroo are preety close to you in Mitchell, or have you moved Mike? They have change ownership in recent years. They still wreck or sell used scooby parts. I'd say they are your best bet.

They going to hate me for saying this but call in to the servo at lyneham as their very reasonable and trustworthy although they don't specialise in subarus they deal with them often enough!
