umm its a heavy duty pressure plate from mrt and whatever friction disk they put in it, but aleady bought a cushioned button clutch from race brakes that i havent put in yet

box is the standard 3.9 box out of a my98 wrx

You do realise that gearboxen require lubrication to work correctly?

(I just broke my first one in 5 years)

The 'shock loading' that occurs on those 5sp boxes gear sets is just stupid when using a 'puk' style clutch with a heavy plate. I usto run a 8puk with 3000puound pressure plate in my old gc8 my biggest mistake eva. I now just run the stock exeedy organic in my 6sp and she works as a great fuse. Id rather keep replacing clutches over boxes :P
