Oh and to top it off to meet the requirements of the last one I hacked the towbar off with an angle grinder and now I find out it's actually a recommendation for the next one. Image

Bugger.
Surely we can dig up the stuff you need between us all on the forum.
I'm considering losing the tow bar from my ute. Problem is it's a great place to put stands when I remove the rear end (happened alot lately).
But there must be an unwanted one on someones garage floor.
It woulndn't hurt to put up a list of stuff you need (and stuff you think you need (want but may not neccessarily need)) and see whats out there.
I for one have heaps of bits and pieces lying around that might be "donateable".
It's a great way for people to lose unwanted parts that they can't bring themselves to chuck out. (I'm a bit of a hoarder and I'm sure there are others like me!)
Anyway best of luck with it and I hope it works out for the next event.

Gee.

Thanks for that Gee, I'll keep an eye on it, postage might be a bit steep though.

Either way doesn't look like I'm going to make it, I've just run out of disposable funds....and then some.

Not sure what I'm going to do but I'll keep the car for now and finish it when I have time.

I'll also put up some pics and footage so everyone can see how it looks and sounds.

I ran out of time before the intended event, was pretty miffed but figured I'd just catch the next one, then at short notice I got a new job and had to move to coffs so it had to go, couldn't sell it so it went to be cubed (see avatar), kind of hurt to spend all that time and effort just to have it cubed, especially when it had new tyres, new clutch and a perfectly healthy EA81.

Oh well, time to move on to bigger and better evil plans.
