MY Coupe and Forester 16's go well together

Post by legacytt » Sat Jun 16, 2007 9:33 am

Had a set of Forester 16 inch Steelies in the shed and needed tyres for the Coupe so fitted some 205/50/16's and am quite impressed with the result. I must admit I don't like the look of these rims on Foresters etc but on the old school Sube they suit it. Offset fills the guards nicely. Not the clearest of shots but gives you the idea.

For those who haven't seen this one it has EJ18 AWD Lib 5 Speed and obviously the 5 Stud conversion. Just need to fit some Front and Rear L series swaybars and it should handle a bit better too.

I'd forgoten how neat the coupes look. on the same note, I have seen Ford Territory steelies 17" on an older Falcon and they look just as good as yours. Who would've thort the old silver frosting trick would look good in the new millenium !!

No Lift but the Wagon rear end has given the back more height than it needs, looking at different shock options to level it out a bit. I might paint these yet, a dark colour would be good as you suggest Brumby Boy.

Last BYB BBQ there where a couple of early Subys with the later model wheels on them, they certainly had no problems in giving the early models a new look
