bullbar compatability

is it possible to fit a gen 2 bullbar to a gen 1 with out any major modification??

way different. your best bet would be to chase down whoever bought subaextreme and see if hey will make you a bar.

Not sure if this helps you at all Dave, however i think that Seagull fitting a Ford 1 to his car (i think) and he reportred that it looked great - i can not comment on how it looked as i did not see it nor do i know if it was a gen 1 or 2.
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

If it’s the one I saw fitment is poor round quarter panels and leaves the front end very exposed!

Ford Courier bullbars fit L series quite well with mount modifications. Try measuring some bullbars form other cars and seeing if they will fit, it's not hard to change the mount position.

wont fit without alot of work. the Gen2 front end is way different to gen1
