Tow Points

Post by camo85 » Mon Jan 08, 2007 8:50 pm

Hi Guys,
this may sound crazy but i'm trying to work out where the correct tow points are for the front of a 88 brumby i think they are were the bumper is but how do you get to them i just used the bottom were the bull bar goes on to tow (but don't think that is safe)need them to be easy access in 4wd situations.(want to put 4x4 tow hooks on).i think i need a equalizing strap to even the weight because there is no chasis.

cheers

Not too sure about tow points, probably off your bullbar mounts or somewhere simmilar. I see your from the ville so iff your keen, we may be able to meet up when matt gets back from the sunshine coast (if your keen matt) and sort something out for ya.

Brumby's came standard with a little plate bolted under the front rail that hangs on either side to act as tow points. Look under the area where your front bumper bolts to the car, these mounts also bolt on so a previos owner may have turfed them.
