High Lift Jack

Post by julian » Thu Dec 07, 2006 2:42 am

It is my cousins birthday this weekend and i want to get him a high lift jack. He owns an 80series Landbruiser that would be rated somewhere between moderate and extreme on the modidication scale (Think top of bullbar at chest height and i am over 6 foot tall...) and needs something to change the massive tyres.

I need some advice on brands, ratings, where to purchase from and prices etc. Anything would be helpful.

In addition if anyone has a reasonable one in SA they want to part with I am keen to hear from you.

Thanks
Julian

I would stay with TJM or ARB forget the Super crap stuff if its that hardcore.
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

I had one of these for years , the only thing I used it for was to kill skippy after he hit the front of my car . drive over the beam when I was bogged .& push the roof of the race car up after it was rolled .
