Brumby radiators.

Post by Gazza01 » Sat Mar 21, 2015 7:49 pm

I just bought a Subaru Brumby Radiator (manual) online for $220.00 free postage, from a crowd in NSW called FENIX. I guess its a cheapo radiator, but when I go on line to Nationwide they want way over $300.00 and another crowd want way over $500.00 and they are all Ally Radiators, so how do u know the difference betw the good the bad and the ugly. I dare say they are all made in China or Tiawan.

Time will tell on the build quality. My brother is currently putting the same branded radiator into his patrol. I think this radiator was recommended to him.

If you're concerned about the quality pay the extra for that piece of mind. I know we all don't have money to burn but if you're not going to be happy with the cheaper unit because of the thought of the unit failing it would be worth the extra expense ;)

Cheers

I posted a review here

and a write up here

Has worked flawlessly since then. HUGE difference in temp control. Just have to work out an overflow recovery system and its all sweet.

am putting another one into the brumby soon.
