donate to the deprived in the UK ?

Word is that some of our stock is leaving our shores for the UK - in a shipping container. Luckily I am not coordinating this but thought it might be worth a mention if anyone wanted to donate stuff almost considered scrap here, to go into the container to be shared amongst the UK member and his mates.

I suggest donate to avoid measly foreign currency exchanges.

The call is out for fuel filler pipes for MY - looks like two part numbers for entire range of MY and the difference is only Super or ULP.

More crap here, sought after over there is backing plates for the rear drum brakes of MY. Reckon L Series might just fit the bill as well to interchange for crusty old MY UK ones. Anyone know the interchangeability ?

Old fuel tanks for the Brumbs as well.

This donor program could be limitd to Sydney side members due to size of some things. It wouldn't hurt some of us to post a pair of brake backing plates in the mail though.

Just an idea, could drift across to fb too and who knows, it may end up like one of those viral pleas for postcards to be sent to a sick child somewhere ....better response than expected type of thing ?

On the L series rear drum brakes: You need the backing plate, auto adjuster mechanism and all of it's springs etc and the L series drum as well - it's different to the MY unit. At least it was between Sunnie the Brumby's original brakes and the original drums from Ruby Scoo...
