Just got my 91 Brumby out of the shed. WOW haven't driven her for 6 mths just ran the motor in the shed. I'm frightened I'll wear it out. Its only got 485000kks on it . I'll put 5 buck of fuel in her take her for a run now every Sunhttp://www.ausubaru.com.au/Chrom3/attach/jpg.gif[ATTACH]4484[/ATTACH]day just to give her a bit of exercise.

That looks like a schmick little Brumby from that shot. Why don't you drive it more?
Only 485,000 kays?? Its barely run in!! :)

Its in very good condition by the looks for the km!
Ive got 320k km and mines pretty tied all round, except for the suspension and bushings which I've replaced.

Sunday driver eh? I've got a long way to go with my brumby at 238xxxKm! But the body looks much rougher than what you've got there!

And country Km to me means that everything has been running as it was designed to. Usually some freshening up of the suspension is all that's needed - and a change of fluids if it hasn't been done regularly!

I'd doubly make sure you're running a good quality coolant to look after the longevity of the engine - you don't want it corroding from the inside out!
