Swapping engine
Can some one tell me the difference between a February 2006 outback engine and gearbox to a 2007 liberty engine and gearbox I was told to look for a blue plug on the back of the right hand head is that right thanks

Welcome to the forum mate.
Well, there could be capacity differences, I know the gearboxes will more than likely have a different diff ratio, which would mean you'd need to swap the rear diff as well.
Someone will have more info - you're certainly welcome and encouraged to do some searching of the forum and the wider web
