My friend is a Century battery agent who can save me a lot on the replacement (now required)
His chart suggests Batt # 75D23L, but that's larger than the current Panasonic & the R.A.C.V suggested Batt# NS40 ZX
Any advice for a newby is welcome.

Upgrade to the biggest battery that will fit in the space. You will most likely need to put bigger battery terminals on as well
