EA82T - coil upgrades

hi all

im after opinions on coil upgrades for the EA82T

worth the bother?

what works best?

look for MSD coils (+ CDI too ) does improve running in boost and starting somewhat, definitely worthwhile I reckon.

any MSD coil in particular? ive heard mention of MSD Blaster 2

so whats the go with CDI's

yep, Blaster 2, I have a hi vibration one (filled with resin, so can mount it any which way) got it for all up < $60 off ebay
i'v got a DIY multi-spark cdi, so can't recommend any brand from experience,
basically what it does is hit the coil with a ~300V discharge from a capacitor
for each spark. The CDI has a step-up inverter type circuit continually recharging the capacitor with the ~300V.
