DIN vs SAE hp figures are stuff all difference, about 1.5% (Jap reference to 'PS' is DIN horspower)

I daresay some of the older figures are calculated horsepower rather than actual ratings...

a lot of this is not in english but hp numbers are i think theres just bout every subaru motor eva made http://Kr2s.tripod.com.ar/INFO.htm check it out theres dyno graphs and photos these guys put em in planes.
