EA81 Heater hose diameter?

Could anyone tell me the diameter for the EA81 heater core hoses?

16mm or 5/8 inch? Something like that...

from what I remember they use a 5/8ths of an inch hose

From measuring my spare heater tap, I can tell you the brass pipe has an approximate diameter of 15mm.

Yeah 16mm. 19mm also works with a good hose clamp.

Wanna give us a demo of that claim Cam, with 13 psi behind it ?
I have trouble using 12.7mm (1/2") hose where 12mm is needed in some funny spots on the EA82T !

Sure!
Used it on my EA81, the inside diameter fits ok, just the outside so I needed new hose clamps.
Done up really tight, just haven't had fluid through them yet :)

I've used 1/2" hose on 5/8" core outlets. Easy. Then again I'm very experienced in getting small rubbers over my male end.
