Found this to be an interesting read, but cant agree with all of it."Nissan design"?

Lots of Ks,A/C, MP3 sometimes(if its not dark) singing steering wheel cover which I listen too when its dark.

good find, looks like a old toyota to me, but im no expert on 70's cars

The Nissan design thing comes up quite a bit in old reviews. One review I have suggests the Subaru GSR coupe looked like the Datsun 1200! Personally I do not see it either, to me the 'Uglies' had a look all of their own.

All in all this most likely stems from Nissan having a 6.8% (from memory) share in Fuji Heavy Industries. There was some parts sharing, the rear diff in the 4WD models being the obvious one...

An interesting fact on Subaru design in the early days; their design studio was underground which meant all the designs (clay models back then) were done in artificial light. Apparently this is not the best thing when a design finally sees the light of day!
