New ride

Post by JPM » Tue Jul 31, 2012 3:05 pm

Ladies and gents, I've got a new project.

I sold the mighty Impreza and I've purchased a 97 Liberty RX wagon with an EJ25 turbo out of a late model (2006) XT Forester. At the moment it's lowered with a bling- bling front mount intercooler, low profile 17's and a single range manual gearbox.

Plans are to de-bling it, lift it and put a dual range box in it, and then see if I can keep up with the WA boys offroad.

I've purchased a 2 inch lift kit from ********* and will be following a similar suspension path to Venom. I've found a top mount, turbo bonnet and I'm hoping to have it lifted and ready for the tracks by summer!!

I'm chasing some parts though- I need a dual range manual EJ gearbox, a standard air box and piping and a stock blow off valve. If anybody has any of these parts please let me know!!

Pics to follow when I work out how to do it!!

Regards

Jayd

Guyph should be able to help with those parts, I know he has a gearbox... as it's left lying on my workshop floor

And glad to hear you brought another Subie Jayd

I doubt it, I can use the words King, Exedy, KYB, Nulon, Penrite, Cadbury and Durex, they arent site sponsors

Yes this is true but the dictionary and filters for the board can be modified so a simple word like ass (aka burro) can be censored or deemed offensive.
