A club car?
A club car?
ok following an example done by the fiat club of australia.
could AUSUBARU build a club car?
yep thats right a car built by the club. Based on donations of parts and labour from around the country, and once its built hopfully we can organise a national club event to show it off?
thoughts?

I've got my car back together... does this count?
I could put some more Ausubaru stickers on it to make it our "club car"
But I doubt it'd pass cams requirements
Coffin Bay was chosen as a "half way" point between Viccos and the WA crew to meet. But other members are more than welcome to join us!
Cheers
Bennie

if im around ill come down defs.
well i was thinking we all build somthing like an RX for rally/motorkhana, the project i saw had them all build it then go to the national event and race with it and the fastest person won the trophy.
as for what happens with the car idk.
but the thing is we all agree on whats best for the car, we all donate parts (probably those left overs in the shed from other projects) time to put it all together and so on.

ok had a thought about this all
and if everyone wants to go ahead im thinking we build a khana cross car, with a half cage.
as for what we put into it is another thing, what have you got hidden in the back shed that can go to a good cause?

I have myself. (labour)
No spares as of yet.
And trying to pay for my full engine rebuild, so sadly no money.
But me and a mate would love to help build it. Super keen.
Cheers Cam

Yeah, lasted about as long as this one will, just too hard to pull together, ok if it's a state thing but Aus wide pretty pointless.

SA is sort of close to being in the middle, idea started there, so make it a SA thing, then with a big gathering need a car with EA81, another with EA82, and the odd old EJ , get them together, brick on accelerator at full noise and see which one lasts longest - all behind a mythbuster bomb blast screen of course

Whoa whoa whoa.
NO.
What are you doing with a mythbuster bomb screen?
That would be in manly.
Would love for it to be in SA. We just need someone who has room to keep an extra car.

hmmm if its already been tossed around
the fact that a fiat club can do it. The only problem i can see is the postage of everything, need to find some truckies doing interstate runs.
ive got a place we can keep it, north of adelaide, its open but with a tarp should be fine. working on it would be a little harder but yeahs.
i cant donate the car but can probably find all the parts (standard) as for giving it a little more pep thats where a problem arises

Yeah, then we see who's is best. What about a buggy, made out of a Subaru? So no roof no doors?
