have been toying with the idea...just wondering if anyone has an aircon setup in their hoard?

Was thinking the same.. use an L.Series kit but I think the evaporator box and condensor are different :( but I've never put the kits side-by-side to tell.

another person who bought a $35,000 car in mid eighties, and could not squeeze a little more out of the finance dept to tick the AC option box !!

Just think of the added weight and you'd need to alter your tare weight next blue slip

Hah, was reading specs on the Honda NSX of 92, in order to use correct tare weight blue slip inspector is to add 2.5 kilos if it is fitted with floor mats !! The tare usually only altered with things like towbar, AC, mags , sunroof - but bloody floor mats ??

I have the air con bits off my RX turbo if interested .
Just make sure you replace or renew any/all water pipes it makes unaccessable - you have been warned .
