model question

Hi, just wondering, we are looking at selling our Liberty, and the person enquiring wanted to know the month and year it was made. It is Nov 2005, BUT on our rego papers, it says it's an 06 model. This was actually changed TO 2006, from a 2005 model on our papers when we first bought it back in 2009. This came about because I asked when we would need our first Rego check done, and the person then explained it is actually an 06 model. So confused. Can anyone help me out here because apparently this is going to change the price of it?

Built date and compliance date.. both are about 4 months apart.

Check the compliance plate on the right hand strut tower for your answer.

thanks for your reply, it say 02/06 on that plate, so does that mean it IS an 06??
