We survived 2 littlies with just an RS2000 Escort, don't know why everyone needs a monster wagon these days.

For the same reason they need 4 bedroom 2 bathroom homes with games, family, lounge dining, outdoor entertaining etc - BECAUSE THEY CAN - oh and because the marketing tells them they NEED it.

I'd happily have the RS2000 back, I bought in new in 79 and sold it when I got divorced 12yrs later with 112,000 on the clock, from memory I paid $7,400 with air and an extended warranty and sold it for $6,000 so not a bad buy, unfortunately I put a stupid cheap glass sun roof in it and it was a 4 door, I had a worked motor in it for a few years too and it went about as quick as a GT Falcon...........slow these days lol.
