It's happening already.....

I was parked at a roadside caravan, munching on an ice cream. A couple of fellas pull up behind and eventually one picks me as the owner

Tells me he used to have an AWD Turbo auto he bought cheap from a dealer in the early nineties, reckons they had trouble shifting them used too. Actually, he said he drove one for a few months . Turns out he then traded it on an RX7 in Melbourne after just a few months of owning his Vortex.

And he is right,,,you don't see many of them around, but getting reports of other sightings !!

Someone give me a reminder in a few days to see if I've tightened my clutch cable lock nuts - they come loose when left hand tight - takes 400km to come loose

I haven't had that happen yet, but quite a few people look and wonder what the hell I'm driving.

Others know and either detest them or have a list of questions.

That wasn't the first either. Did get a look of, and action, of repulsion when I told one fella what I'd bought - later on he did have to give it the once over , on first tank fill, older bloke in front said he "knew it was old, but what is it?" And took about ten minutes to get away , I was itchin' to get a drive in

Mustn't look fast enough (c'mon it is 726 red! )as some have chosen to pull up in a lane behind bigger, newer slow stuff at the lights instead of behind me !
