Do you know if a TY754VN2AA is the same as my TY754VN1AA and if it would fit? i think its a 4:4 ratio?

Im about to guy a TY754VN2AA that has ppg internals and just want to know if it will fit up and work in my 1999 wrx with gearbox number TY754VN1AA
According to what I could find on the net they are not interchangeable - 1AA has a 1.1 drop gear meaning you need a 3.54 rear diff as opposd to the 3.9 for the 2AA box.
However if it has PPG internals it could be any ratio in there - best to find out your rear diff ratio for certain and physically check the box to make sure Or just get the correct rear diff.
Other than that it will be a direct bolt in swap.
