ausubaru online chat?

Post by spidersubaru » Thu Mar 24, 2011 7:00 pm

just a question or idea really has anyone ever thought of or looked into the idea of having an online chat section on this website so you could chat to people online here instead of posting all the time and being able to ask or answer questions people might have straight away or just want to chat to online friends?

Not a bad idea but the reason I injoy the site is because people ask all different types of questions and everyone can benefit from the answers. I've found that with these AUSubaru facebook groups, you can chat to others when they are online.

A while ago I put forward the notion of a shout box on the front page. another idea could be an IRC channel. or like quite a few people on the board... skype.

Hasn't this been tried before? Or maybe I'm thinking of another forum. Wherever it was, it didn't take off.

Message boards are message boards, IMO if you want to chat, use a chat program.

not sure if we have enough traffic to warrant a chat feature. As Paul said, the questions asked are intended to help everyone.
