It is getting closer now. It starts and is driveable but is only RWD at the moment. Got to fit the front cv's this week some time.
As you can see in one of the pics there is still a couple of wires to put back in behind the dash. It seems to be a never ending job using the complete wiring loom from the front cut instead of just using the computer side of things. The bonus with that though is it is getting the climate control. Another PITA job as we have to modify all the slide controls that the brumby has from factory to suit the motors from the climate control.
With a bit of luck it should be ready for rego at the end of the week.
A big thanks to Dave (Subi-wan-kenobi) for all the help he has given me with the conversion.

She is Alive.
I am surprised, I should say amazed at how quiet it is. We don't even hear Brett pull up in the drive way. But grunt, I was following him out of the street the other day, the long straight streatch, he pulled out of the corner, and left me for dead. In my defence, I wasn't ready for it, as he was going so slow around the corner, but I wasn't going to catch it either.
It is noisy inside the cab due to the tyres.
But he has done a great job stuffing that Liberty into a MY.
Also thanks Dave, he has put in a good deal to time and effort.

So is that Flair Red? Or some other custom paint colour?
Looks pretty sweet. But if it goes offroad, and if its anything like mine, all that under hood paint will just look.... brown....
Im interested in seeing them superlites on it. I am getting some 15" superlites for mine soon. Wondering if I should paint them white or leave them alloy. But anyways, that will be a photochop decision.
Looking good.

Hey Brett, just a little tip (doesn't matter either way really) but we've found its easier to take the vaccuum for the brake booster from the driver's side of the manifold than the passenger's. Means you don't need that steel line running across the back of the engine bay.
I personally haven't done it like this in my coupe, I have the boost gauge tapped in on that side, but the other turbo EJ converts over here have.
Other than that, can I get your exact address and an idea of what nights of the week you're not home . Veeerrry nice Brumby.

We generaly do too. The booster line is very temporary where it is ATM. This is a good tip for any one else doing a conversion like this. On the back of the manifold on the drivers side there is a thread tapped which is just blocked off from the factory. The handy point is that it is the same as the thread on the passengers side where the brake booster originally runs from. Just swap the two over.Hey Brett, just a little tip (doesn't matter either way really) but we've found its easier to take the vaccuum for the brake booster from the driver's side of the manifold than the passenger's.
