Liberty Sunroof question

Hi guys

I have a 2006 model liberty and just got a quick question regarding the sunroof. When I pop it up it only comes up maybe 10cm at most. Is this normal or should it lift higher?

Mine.. albeit a different model.. lifts up ubout the same but press the button again and the glass slides backwards (inside the roof area)
