dual range imprezza

Post by wrxer » Sun Aug 15, 2010 8:10 pm

at the hail damaged auction the other day, and i saw a blob/drop eye imprezza wagon 03ish. it was manual, non turbo, think it was single cam. but it had the second lever for hi/low range same as my gen2 outback did. i thought only outback and forester had dual range boxes. were these standard issue or optional. i normally only look inside turbo imprezza.
what gives?
