Oh nice.. I miss read what you posted prior
You're lucky, our ones (albiet 4 bangers) are hidden behind a panel in the boot section. I search everywhere under the dash for it

Hey Paul, I wouldnt be surprised if its an on demand steer pump, the car tracks dead nuts straight and feels a bit heavy in the front end ( my impression anyway) was thinking its the extra weight of the engine, maybe its the steering system.RSR 555 wrote:Oh nice.. How did I miss this post/thread whatever? Great find - even if the wheel is on the other side
. I think I now know how the six fits in as a std Vortex four does not have that mouth like at the front, think it is straight across. Old late 70's toy celica did a straight six as a XX Supra Celica, it got longer nose panels, looks like XT no longer externally.
Wonder if L Series dash and instrument all fit straight in
Has the missus been informed yet?
What are the power specs of this 2.7 litre six do you know yet Mark? 450 cc per pot for the 1.8 litre, 450cc per pot for the 2.7
50 poo cent increase in capacity ....

I think its rated at 145 hp ive been told, not sure.

This would be a good chance for someone to post up a shot of a standard XT4 Vortex engine bay
