AndrewT wrote:Regarding front driveshafts, your issue is probably that there are different types of MY shafts with regards to spline count. Perhaps the particular year of Brumby you have has the wrong type.

Quoted from Crossbred website;
"MY use 22 spline MY shafts with Liberty outer CV."

Not particularly detailed but im sure the specifics of exactly what to use are lying around this forum somewhere.
If you're keen for longterm reliability your probably best off getting new CV's etc anyway. Alan's CV Joint can easily make up frankenstein shafts out of new or reconned bits.
True.. I have just brought Jules's Inners from John (Alan's CVs) and they arrive on Friday looking great ;)

I've tried to go there like 3 times to lend a hand but the timing hasn't worked out. If I ever get there I'll take bulk photos whether Dave likes it or not :)
At this stage we have a better chance of seeing it by trying to spot it on Google Earth!

She is a runner!!

test drives tomorrow, finish the niggly little things, sus out the teething probs

ill ACTUALLY TAKE SOME PICS tomorrow when i get her out of the back yard and out the front where it can be seen.

as im carless atm, i have not done th body work yet, caus i need a way to get to and from work, so body work looks pretty average.

but in a few weeks the bodywork will be undergoing its full resto and she will be PRETTY once again :D

well the brumby drives awesome....fast. handles well....love it

what i dont like about it is doing 110 up the hwy on the long drive home with it and having a slight knock, and then watching your rear wheel overtake you up the road......

not fun

moral of the story is make sure your wheel nuts are tight
