You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

I still can't see the pics
Lift kit is in, but that was a bloody hassle. Worst fears realised = car stuck on hoist.
Had all sorts of components missing that we had to fabricate on the fly, very disappointing considering the Backyard Boys kit was supposed to have "everything you need". Also, disappointed that there was no communication about any potential pitfalls and issues arising from the lift, like speedo cable not long enough, bottom radiator hose modification, 4WD selector lever had to be bent, front strut top spacers labelled back to front and also giviing more positive camber than is specified in the manual, etc.
Given how much correspondence flowed backwards and forwards just trying to get the damned kit supplied at all, I would have thought these may have been mentioned.
I'm all for credit where credit is due, but I wouldn't recommned this kit to anyone.
Better off getting the Scorpion one which is RTA approved as well.
2 more sleeps before outback trip ( 2nd - 27th April) !!!!
