Don't think a pod on the engine side breather will work without probs. Went for hard drive in hills today and nearly passed out from oil fumes. I thought it just sucked on that side but it seems not!

My redline airbox didn't have a very good connection for my crankase breathers (too small) , so I was trying a small pod filter on the drivers side breather and an even smaller one on the passenger side where the little white filter used to work. Theory is the drivers side sucks air in, it goes through the head and sump then out the other breather into the pcv filter etc Prob is it seems fumes still go out the in filter and stink, causing nausea and annoyance.
sorry if doesn't make sense, photos aren't working for me right now,

I made an oil catch can from PVC for the rh breather, lh breather filtered to atmo, but hopefully another catch can before the weekend is out, then it will be a 'sealed' system again.
Also welded the PCV valve as is no longer worked as a one way valve and interesting things happened with boost and engine oil...

I tested it by using heater hose and the redline filter plastic connector. No smell at all but I'm not convinced its breathing well enough. The manuel (gregorys) says above moderate throttle the whole system reverses and puts blowby fumes into airbox or in my case engine bay and then my airways. Thats an interesting chassis mod I'll try that if my makeshift effort won't stay put,
Correct me if I am wrong but if the pcv is blocked won't that build too much pressure and makes nasty leaks such as rear main?
