Congratulations Brumbyrunner

Post by Outback bloke » Mon Nov 30, 2009 5:07 pm

The results have been posted for the Tri-series offroad racing. Brumbyrunner won the championship for Extreme 4wd vehicles with a total of 378 points. Second place went to Rob Chapman in his Pajero with a total of 279 points.

Brumbyrunner (Stuart and Jim) came a very respectable 7th outright for all vehicles.

Over all in the national competition they came in 4th with a total of 315 points from 2 races of 5 available. The winner was Colin Hunter as expected with 752 points from 5 out of 5 races. He had better look out if Brumbyrunner ever competes in all the rounds of the championship.

And a final congratulations goes to Brumbyrunner and his wife for the birth of their son recently.

Congrats to both you and your wife on the birth of your son - parenting is the best and most rewarding job you can have.

What's his name?

Thanks for the support and good wishes. It was a great result, our best so far.
I'm quick to acknowledge the effort the team put in, building the car, keeping it going and making it better.
We're looking forward to 2010 now, it's gonna be a big year. Offroad racing is really taking off in Australia. A bunch of the top runners are building brand new cars and workshops are already busy prepping for the next season.

Our little boy Zac is doing very well. Sleeping and feeding like a champion.

Good to see you've got your priorities straight Brumbyrunner... I thought Zac would've been mentioned first!

Once again well done and best of luck for next year - in both fields!

Cheers
