Thinking of buying a subie when over
G'day all,
Im over to Melbourne from Scotland in november and was considering buying a car when over rather than hiring a car for a few weeks, my plan is to leave it at the house in which i will be staying when move over for good, hopefully beginging of next year, i spotted this subie a few months ago and fancied it and it is still up for sale, seems to be not bad and in my price range at the moment. Can anyone advice me anymore on this car and dealer

Its actually an 1989 (only year with fuel injection). Ie, its the top of the line model if you discount the turbos.
They key to these cars is good head gaskets, nor ust around windscreen, and the cooling system in desent condition.
Also, to be able to use a car on the road, it requires a RWC (road worthyness certificate). Since its a dealer selling the car, I would strongly encourage getting them to do one. Since its been on sale for a long time I would suggest that it may be quite easy to get the dealer to do it.
