FOUND IT!

WHEELS, April 1987

It was spared in the big magazine cull some years back (which should not have taken place). Spared not for NEW Magna EFi, Mazda 121, The Legend Falcon 20 years on, but for BROCK - Countdown to Catastrophe (got a very young Brockie on the cover (he was still alive at the time of my cull)

Comparison was taken with my 1986 model new in 87 L Series GLTA 4WD sedan in mind. With those choices at the time for turbo or purpose 4WD it is a wonder the Subie had any sales. I suppose their scarcity is explained by the prices

Yeah, astronomical aye - I was speaking to the original owner of a 1988 vortex the other day, his (5sp. AWD) cost him $33,000.00 in '88

I also find interest in the difference in the claimed fuel economy between RX & XT...

Hi Guys.,
sorry to jump in on your conversation ,as you can most probably see i am new to all this tech stuff . could you inform me if there is a proper way to advertise a brumby ute for sale on the forum . You must excuse me i got my seniors card the other day ( 60 years young) so in my day we wrote on paper. I could do with a little help.
