Valeo Clutch kit

Post by AlpineRaven » Wed Mar 04, 2009 5:48 pm

G'day,
As I need a new clutch as mine is slipping now under heavy acceleration, I got a quote for a new one from a auto store in Niddrie, its a Valeo HCB Clutch for Liberty EJ22 model H1142N for $310.

Since I haven't heard of Valeo and the guy swears its the best out of all and Europeans uses it... does it sound fishy/dodgy?
Cheers

Valeo are supposed to be 'OE' equivalent.
I have run a few in various Subaru's, good for a standard car. Not good if it is modified / high power....

Valeo is OEM (and installed at factory too) for SAAB, Volvo and a couple of other brands. It is top quality.
