auto ej?

Hi All, I've just suffered piston failure in my 93 L. Want n/a ej auto conversion.My car is EA82 auto. I've read the thread and there's not much on autos.Do I need to change the rear diff?Does anyone have any wise advice. Many Thanks Jim

You need to match the diff the the ej auto box normally a 4.11 on a n/a ej.
You could run a adapter plate onto you ea auto,but a ej auto is better.
Where are you located?

I'm close to Adelaide and would prefer the ej auto if possible, the 3speed ea unit is limited.Thanks
