a winch on a suby

Post by benwarn » Wed Nov 05, 2008 8:15 am

well i did it finally

i took some photos pulling up an incline, rather than being bogged, as it's impossible to tell how bogged i am in a pic, so i hope this give a good idea of the steepness, as always, it's always steeper than it looks!

I also like the "secret squirrel" nature of where you put it too. Looks tidy and is quite functional - thats top stuff mate.

i dont think there's enough room on the front and i also doubt the mounting places would be strong enough!

Good install.

When I get around to it I will take some pics of the winch & bar on the front of my 'L' series Wagon.....

Very subtle and tidy fitment.
Do you have any plans for a remote control or something? It would be a bugger to have to open the tailgate if it was underwater.

Thats pretty cool, is it attached to the tow bar? or more bracing around?

and seeing as no one else has asked yet, what type of winch is it? And what sort of dimensions?
