spotted L-Series in loganholme

spotted a white L-Series wagon today down at loganholme it was lifted had some serious rubber and was covered in stickers that gave the impression that it had been on the sids 4wd trek. the guy driving it was an older guy in his 50's. anyone here know who it was and if so how did it go on the trek?
