Bigger tyres for my 2002 forester

Post by hum0002 » Sun Sep 28, 2008 9:52 pm

Hey all,

I have a 2002 Subaru Forester with a 2inch strut lift (lifting up the body) and i wanted to know what is the biggest size tyre that gets on to the car.

It currently has 215/60/R16 and I have tryed and know that the 215/60/R16 fit but i wanted to know if anybody else has got bigger tyres on their forester and did you have to adjust anything eg.spacers...

any help would be very much appreciated!

Cheers Sean

28" (215/70R16) is about as big as people usually go on the foresters.

You would be better off lifting the car than going for huge tyres. Your gearing will suffer the taller you go...
